Last night I had to go pick up a few things from the store. I picked up my mom and we made an outing of it. We had a chance to talk and enjoy each other. When we arrived the mood was somber, more like a wake than a super market. Even so, I had no trouble finding what I came for and enjoyed making a point to smile at everyone I saw. At the register we joked with the clerk and the gentleman bagging our items. We were all laughing and enjoying the exchange so much others began to navigate to our line. It’s was such a simple thing, but it made the experience of going to the store delightful.
